Demitri's Feast

Move over Perseus, Demitri's has made its way to Greek legend status - earned for its cracking menu, top-notch coffee and friendly staff. Stools made from olive oil tins mean more people can squeeze around the small tables for excellent breakfasts: baklava French toast made with tsoureki (sweet egg bread), candied walnut crumbs, thick yoghurt and orange blossom syrup; or a luscious honeyed oat, walnut and dried mulberry crumble with poached fruit and rose petals. The lunch feast changes daily, but might be robust moussaka or calamari with ouzo aioli. Generous serves mean you'll leave with your belly as full as your soul.
