It's been a couple of days since South Australian brewing company, Coopers and Bible Society Australia released their "Keeping It Light" ad campaign, aimed to 'reach even more Australian's with God's word'. After some fierce nationwide backlash, pubs have started boycotting the beer, taking it off tap and refusing to order more. The Union Bar in Newtown posted on their Facebook admonishing the language coming out of Coopers Brewery, particularly the call to "Keep it Light" in regard to an issue effecting thousands and far from a light-hearted debate.
