Quack, Hungry, Eat and Sit are the instructions you may find on your bar stool. In a New York Hamptons meets inner-west groove, it's bursting with ducky character from the bookcase wallpaper to the schmoozy sofas. But since a chef change the food has lost a beat. Baby beetroot plays hide 'n' seek with overzealous mesclun, while two delicious (but meagre) goat's cheese croquettes leave you feeling short-changed. Overcooked crumbed Tassie salmon cake revealed a disappointingly sloppy filling, but the voluptuous mushroom burger is a winner: an oozy, drippy experience. A Two Birds Red Ale finishes it off nicely.
