Hot on the heels on the success of its Surry Hills store, hybrid sneaker, fried chicken and champagne bar Butter is stepping things up with the opening of its (literally) next level Parramatta store this Friday.

The store will consist of two levels, the first selling food and the second, a "lifestyle" store. After polishing off a burger, customers can observe a type of sheen beyond their gloriously buttery fingers. There's just as much slickness in the venue's fitout; with a handmade light sculpture, industrial concrete backdrops, granite tabletops and glossy high chairs.

2015 Young Chef of the Year, Julian Cincotta, rules the roost at Butter. His menu selection is tried and trusted, packed with the same fried chicken and sandwiches available at the current Surry Hills location.

Cincotta says that "with the larger kitchen we have at Parramatta, we are going to be a little more experimental." This means combinations of chicken with caviar and champagne cocktails, ramen, steamed milk buns, coke and coffee, Kabayaki, pickled daikon and smoked pastrami.

On the the permanent menu there's fried tofu nuggets; carrot and cabbage slaw; fries ('laces'); a 'cheezus' sandwich; pickled cucumbers; peanut butter and jelly soft serve; hot doughnuts; a crispy fried field mushroom sandwich and corn on the cob with miso butter.

Level two is a retail space selling luxury sneakers, hoodies, jackets, tees, bottoms, hats, beanies, socks, bags and even rare books, including international streetwear brands Daily Paper and Filling Pieces, and Butter's own four shirt styles.

"We believe there is no place like it in the world," claim the Butter team. There's only one way to find out.
