The most famous hanging gardens of them all is a hot theme in Sydney.

Last year the multimillion-dollar Babylon rooftop opened in the CBD. Now the northern metropolis of Chatswood is in on the act.

Cafe Babylon has opened at The Concourse, and while it's a little more modest than its unrelated city namesake, it's eye-catching in a white-tulip way.

The first cafe venture from real estate and investment outfit the Denvell Group, it is a coffee-focused cafe with croissants and pastries.

There's a Slayer espresso machine, plus the cafe also offers more culty filter coffee.

Northern Sydneysiders don't live on coffee alone, so there are also house-made sodas and matcha.

There's some meaning in the Babylon moniker. Babylon shares the space with the Ancient Cities Collection property project.
