Lotus Dining Group's recently appointed group GM, Hamish Ingham (Banksii, Bar H), has been quick to make his mark.

Fresh from overseeing the opening of Lotus Double Bay, the group's latest project is the opening of Chi by Lotus.

Inspired by the night markets on Beijing's Ghost Street, the casual eatery opened yesterday at Barangaroo in the space previously occupied by Bund restaurant.

Chi by Lotus has a Luchetti Krelle interior, with chef Chris Cheng behind the burners. Sounds promising.
