Continental Deli Bar & Bistro is now open in Sydney CBD

Crack a can-hattan, it's finally here. After Good Food reported in February that Continental Deli Bar & Bistro would be launching a CBD outpost of its sherry-slinging Newtown eatery, the new digs are open for business from Tuesday, October 30.

The Phillip Street location is based on the same formula that saw the neo-trad deli named Bar of the Year in The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2017. That is, much in the way of high-end conservas (tinned fish), cheese, charcuterie, cocktails (canned or otherwise), wine and larger European-influenced dishes if you're keen to make an event out the excursion.

Fans of the meatball-and-parmesan sandwich responsible for righting many hangovers at the Newtown store will be happy to know the hefty sanger has made the CBD journey, too.

Open Mon-Fri lunch and dinner; Sat dinner only.
