The sprawling new Fratelli Fresh flagship store opens on Friday, May 25 at the new International Convention Centre Sydney.

While foodies eager to see what former Rockpooler Khan Danis would do with the Fratelli Fresh menu will be disappointed to hear he's departed the project, there's still plenty to get excited about.

Licensed for an impressive 550 customers, it has an Eataly-style layout with specialist food areas, indoor ceilings as high as an indoor climbing centre, and its own Campari bar.

The coffee's from Mecca, the bread is from Sonoma, the dessert bar is overseen by pastry chef Riccardo Falcone, and they've even squeezed a table tennis table into the back corner for the big kids.

Open daily 7am-midnight.
