It has been a big month for Sydney rooftops.

Old Mate's Place, a new bar with its own city rooftop, has just opened; an open-air rooftop roller-skating rink is operating throughout September at Broadway, and now Pyrmont has a new rooftop venue to call its own.

A "Palm Springs"-inspired rooftop from designer Matt Woods (Bloodwood) has just launched atop The Quarryman Hotel.

If its name, The Rooftop, doesn't inspire you, maybe the mix of pastel pinks, cacti and cocktails will.

The menu is pretty simple, but on theme. Chicken tacos with salsa fresca, buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce and a salmon poke salad with a ginger dressing.

Open from noon, Wednesday-Sunday.
