Airport dining cleared for takeoff

Expect more high-flyers to join MoVida and Vue de Monde at Melbourne Airport if airport retail operations manager David Yallouz has his way.

Yallouz is hoping to announce other ''well-known Melbourne restaurateurs who will join us as the airport continues to expand''. He says Melbourne Airport's new domestic terminal is a few years away but he is putting feelers out for interest.

For now, former Koko head chef Allan Koh has joined Yallouz's airport team at MoVida's international terminal offshoot. Yallouz says the growth of the airport businesses he manages, including MoVida and Cafe Vue, has ''been very positive over the past year''.
