Jennifer and Jessi Singh have sold Babu Ji in St Kilda and Horn Please in North Fitzroy, a few months after the couple moved to New York to be with family and to open Babu Ji in East Village.

Horn Please was sold to Amar and Raj Singh, who also bought Jennifer and Jessi's first businesses in Kyneton, Dhaba at the Mill and the associated food trucks.

Former chef at Carlton North's Kent Hotel Ranjit Singh bought Babu Ji with his business partner Mani Waraich.

"The long-term core team members at both Horn Please and Babu Ji have stayed on," Jennifer Singh said. "The transition at both [restaurants has] been very smooth, and our guests remain in the same dedicated hands of Team Horn Please and Team Babu Ji as they've always been."
