Four Seasons opens new restaurant

Hamish Ingham and Rebecca Lines opened their new restaurant, The Woods, on Monday at Four Seasons Sydney on George Street in the city.

Several Good Food readers were puzzled by the choice of moniker, given it shares the same name as Emma Woods's Earlwood eatery The Woods Cafe and Deli.

''I was bit surprised by the choice,'' Woods says.

But don't expect the legal letters to start flying, the inner-west chef says there is room for two Woods in Sydney. The Woods, or the New Forest, if you prefer, is right on trend with a vertical herb garden, a chef's table with a lamb etched into its glass and green tomato soup with blue claw yabbies on the menu.
