Hot diggity dog, Pizza Hut is launching another stuffed-crust behemoth.
The fast food chain's frankfurt frankenfood features a ring of 28 miniature hotdogs individually wrapped in dough blankets.
The "hot dog bites" pizza will be available from June 18 in the US.
The launch means American Pizza Hut is finally catching up to its Australian sibling. A local version of the hotdog-stuffed crust debuted in late 2012, featuring a continuous hotdog running around the circumference of the pizza crust, drizzled with a squiggle of ketchup and mustard.
The new American incarnation is served with a side of French's mustard to dip the individual pigs in (pizza) blankets in.
The footy frank hotdog crust joins Pizza Hut's latest Australian offering, a party-pie stuffed crust. The pizza chain seems to be drawing inspiration from children's birthday parties of late. What's next, fairy bread?
Pizza Hut is yet to confirm whether the hot dog bites crust will be available in Australia.
