Fratelli Fresh to open in Rosetta site at Grosvenor Place

With the guillotine finally falling on luxe Melbourne import Rosetta at Sydney's Grosvenor Place, what's the next move from its owner? Well, put another Italian restaurant in its place.

Pacific Concepts will open a Fratelli Fresh in Rosetta's former digs at Grosvenor Place in July. The latter has remained shut since last year's lockdown.

Fratelli Fresh has had its own interesting ride, jettisoning its Potts Point and Alexandria locations.

In April, Merivale bought Fratelli Fresh's Bridge Street home. "Fratelli Fresh did not renew its lease at its former Bridge Street site post-COVID," Pacific Concepts said in a statement.

Which presumably leaves Grosvenor Place, just a couple of Buddy Franklin kicks from Bridge Street, as more fertile turf for the Fratelli Fresh chain.
