Collingwood burger bar Huxtaburger has given birth to a city sibling. The second Huxtaburger is in Fulham Place, a laneway at the rear of 357 Collins Street. Lunchtime crowds are already ''solid'', says chef and co-owner Daniel Wilson, adding, ''we want to get people after work, too''. Part of the charm of the menu is the burgers named after different members of the Huxtable family from the 1980s television series The Cosby Show, and the city venue has put together a breakfast burger with bacon, egg and bloody mary-inspired mayonnaise called Vanessa. Asked if there are plans for a third Huxtaburger, Wilson says: ''We are exploring our options south-side.'' The original Huxtaburger opened on Smith Street in December 2011 and sells about 3500 burgers a week.
