It's a big week for the Jimmys. Jimmy Liks, a victim of the lockout laws in Kings Cross, has risen from the ashes, opening a spin-off online home delivery business, Mrs Liks.

The strong word on Sydney's eat streets is a bricks and mortar business will follow.

And Merivale's overdue George Street neighbour for the recently opened Bar Toppi is finally ready for birth.

Jimmy's Falafel (not a relation of Jimmy Liks) is slated to finally open on Saturday, March 14.

Jimmy's Falafel will be headed up by Simon Zalloua, the former Rockpool chef with some serious Lebanese-Australian food pedigree.

Zalloua had a legion of fans during his tenure at Sefa Kitchen on Bondi Road. City folk should be excited.
