Just Open: 580 Bench, St Kilda Road

Specialty coffee trio Josh Crasti, Frankie Tan and Jared Lawler appear to be on a mission to clean up St Kilda Road's formerly dire coffee game, one ristretto at a time.

Since opening last winter, their slick little specialty coffee shop Slater Street Bench has lifted the spirits of countless nine-to-fivers, and recently the boys unveiled a new outlet just down the road at number 580.

Set in the airy, marble-lined foyer of the Pro Build offices, you can expect the same excellent Small Batch coffee, designer interiors and sharp attention to detail that the team has become known for – as well as a handful of pastries, artisan bikkies and rolls.

There's communal seating for up to 12 and outdoor seating to come.

Open Mon-Fri 7am-4pm.
