It's Melbourne's third annual Italian Food and Wine Festival this Sunday, and the line-up is, well, Italian.

Held at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens, there will be a tasting of 200 Italian wines (and a separate barolo bar offering master classes in Piedmont's premium DOC wine), a market selling mozzarella from That's Amore, books from Books for Cooks, truffles, fresh pasta, gelato and a whole lot of sausage.

The pop-up restaurant is slinging pasta from Carmine Costantini of Pasta Adagio in Richmond, and pizza from 400 Gradi, while on stage, Alberto Fava and Andreas Papadakis (Tipo 00, Osteria Ilaria) and Rosa Mitchell will be doing demos.
