Sean Connolly's restaurant tentacles already stretch from Sydney to Auckland and Dubai. Next stop? Gosford, NSW.

Gosford isn't exactly over-represented in the restaurant guide books but Connolly no doubt hopes to change that, joining former ad man John Singleton in a sprawling hospitality project at Singleton's Gosford development, Bonython Tower.

Bells at Killcare owners Brian and Karina Barry are steering the venture, which opens later this year.

It will include family-friendly steak and seafood restaurant Bonfire, along with a separate cafe, bar and private dining room and cellar, all under the one roof.
