Team behind Maybe Sammy and Maybe Frank to open Deans on 22

The owners of Sydney bars Maybe Sammy and Maybe Frank are about to "complete the Rat Pack trilogy" with a new venue named after Dean Martin.

Vince Lombardo confirmed Deans on 22 (working title) will open in early 2021, at the top of the new hotel on the corner of George and Hunter streets, in Sydney.

"We've partnered with TFE Hotels, it'll really be something," he says. Lombardo and his business partners are flying, having nabbed a ranking of #11 in the world, Best Bar in Australasia and the Art of Hospitality award at the recent 2020 World's 50 Best Bars.

The emerging Sydney bar tsars will bring their beverage program, including the range of Maybe Sammy bottled cocktails. The chef for the food venue is yet to be announced, but they will provide an in-room dining option for hotel guests.
