Some months after Alto closed in dispute with the Black Mountain Tower, the revolving restaurant space is looking for a new tenant.

Agent Raine & Horne says the restaurant is one of only a handful of revolving restaurants in the country.

The space is 397 square metres, with the option also to run the cafe on the public viewing deck, open seven days a week, 9am until 9pm.

Mickey Gubas, who ran Alto for eight years, closed it suddenly in February this year, after a long-running rent dispute with landlord Telstra. He took his team to Lonsdale Street for a complete change of tack, and opened the Autolyse bakery.
