Want to buy a hatted Sydney restaurant? Now is the time to strike, with Vini and Sagra both within reach. Electronic flyers have appeared for both with broker Michael Fischer & Associates, minus names but with photos of the restaurants any half-seasoned Sydney diner could thumb.

Vini co-owner Chris Walker confirmed the stable of venues in which he is a partner – Vini, winebar 121 BC and Berta – are for sale.

"I'm not making a secret of it, but they're good businesses with great staff, we don't want to destabilise them… but they are genuinely for sale," Walker adds.

Sagra owner Nigel Ward is also feeling out the market. "It won't happen unless someone dangles the carrot. I'm also exploring other options, like taking on a partner," Ward says.

Michael Fischer confirmed an asking price of $240,000 for Vini and $325,000 for Sagra.
