Wine v sake showdown at Charlie Dumpling

Charlie Dumpling is teaming up with the Humble Tumbler founder Clare Burder for a battle of the beverages. Wine educator Burder studied sake-matching in Japan earlier this year and will guide guests through the dumpling and drink pairings.

Over the course of the evening, five dumplings will be matched with sake or wine. The fourteen guests will vote on the best beverage companion to the fare.

And as for the venue's popular doughnut dumplings? Should they make an appearance, our bet's on the sake.
