Fresh from nabbing a fourth consecutive chef's hat at the Good Food Guide Awards, chef Kim Currie is walking away from her central west culinary hot spot, the Zin House, in Mudgee.

The good news for Zin House fans is that it will be more of a pause than a final farewell when it closes at the end of the year.

"I'm going to eat, travel, cook for pleasure and write, as well as undertaking new projects. I want to make some substantial changes when I reopen [mid 2019] but will see where the journey takes me first," Currie says.
