10 William Street, Paddington
It was hard enough to get in when the Paradiso brothers were packing people to the gunwales in this teeny Italian wine bar and restaurant as it was. And now? Well, you can take your chances with their booking system which previously didn't exist. So big plus there, really.

Catalina, Rose Bay
The emerald in the Sydney crown, nestled on Rose Bay, is currently taking reservations for 10 but it's lovely to think of that light-filled bayside room coming to life again with a gang. Hello, house-smoked king salmon and creme fraiche.

Hubert, CBD
You can take the patrons out of Hubert but you can't take Hubert from the hearts of its patrons. Right now, you can reserve the French(ish) restaurant for a group of ten people which is pretty much the plushest underground dining experience you can have in Sydney right now.

Marta, Rushcutters Bay
Is anyone missing the sounds of a dining room? The clatter of cutlery? The low-key murmur of diners? The occasional shriek and smashed glass? Well, experience some dining ASMR at this Roman trattoria. You'll feel human in minutes.
