Our all-female issue for International Women's Day

Thursday is International Women's Day, and in celebration and solidarity, we dedicate this week's issue of Good Food to women. For decades we have all asked the question, where are the women in our top restaurant kitchens? It is a vital question, one that deserves more focus than ever, but in this special all-female edition we have chosen to shine a light on the women working not only in our kitchens but out in the field, literally, from farmers, cheesemakers and truffle hunters to brewers and fabulously fearsome bartenders slinging some of the best booze in the business. For one week only, our regular male columnists have handed over to female guest columnists so that the issue not only celebrates women but is entirely written and produced by women. This is a shout out to the sisterhood working in Australia's world class food and hospitality industry. We salute you, we thank you. Ardyn Bernoth
