Breakfast & Beer

Contemporary$$

The pairing of a great brunch with a great beer is a fine thing, and B&B delivers with its worldly selection of brews and terrific menu that champions local produce (Skipton eel, Istra salami). Make the day's first meal luscious field mushrooms topped with spinach, dill, parmesan and poached egg, nicely matched with a Belgian-style blond beer. Beyond brunch, mainstays include organic potato gnocchi with pecorino and wild rabbit. The cafe vibe morphs into low-lit den at night, though dinner nudges the budget. But, to bookend the day, B&B's 'Belgian chocolate nemesis' with caramel, prunes, praline, cream and cocoa nibs is otherworldly.
