Cafe Gaia

You don't have to be chic to hang out at Cafe Gaia, but if you are you'll fit in just fine - working your way through the rack of fashion and design mags. Gaia has fresh white walls, polished floorboards and a leafy streetside courtyard. At breakfast, a special of spinach, pinenut and feta omelette might steer you away from the tight, well-crafted menu, while at lunch you might go for the chicken salad - a brilliant tangle of moist flesh, rocket, cucumber and pinenuts. A range of piadine (perhaps bresaola, fresh tomato and rocket) are lunchtime staples. And before you leave, work your way through a rich chocolate brownie.
