Italian

Fitzroy's lauded pizzeria decided to share the love with its southside pals and Ladro landed on Greville Street. With a simple interior of white-washed brick walls and shiny white tiles, the Ladro approach is a fuss-free one, evidenced by the simple drinks menu. There's a decent range of beers, a couple of ciders, a clutch of grappas, a martini, a Negroni and a nice mix of Australian and European wines. The bar area is a stylish L-shaped section at the front, plus there's a courtyard out the back and a step-down alfresco section at the front. Pair a drink with some olives or salumi for a pleasant little interlude.
