MoVida Bakery

Cafe

This outpost of the MoVida empire has a stripped-back design, with concrete floors and Formica, an open kitchen, and flour sacks stacked against the walls. They're saving the fancy for what's on your plate. Over a nutty, butterscotchy Lavazza coffee, decide which loaf you'll take home: the olive bread made with green and black olives and lemon-infused olive oil from Mount Zero? The fruit bread, heavy with dates, figs and apricots soaked in Pedro Ximenez sherry? There are about a dozen options, as well as eat-in treats like sandwiches, salads and pies. Finish off with one of their famous doughnuts.
