Smoothies have become a different beast since the banana and vanilla ice-cream shakes we had growing up. Not everyone will be eager to jump on the green smoothie bandwagon, but easing yourself into smoothies with something a little more familiar may be the perfect way to start your day.
1 ripe banana, frozen
ÂĽ cup of raw cashews
1 tsp cacao powder
1 tsp honey
1 cup almond milk, or milk of choice
Place all ingredients into the Nutribullet or an extractor blender of your choice.
Blend for 45 seconds until smooth.
Serve.
