Baffi and Mo

Since opening in 2009, Baffi and Mo has played a role in Redfern's hipster revolution. Expect to wait at busy times - both for a table and for your meal - but it's worth it for brekkie like herby baked eggs with sobrasada (Majorcan sausage) or a generous sweet-potato hash piled high with grilled veg, salad and a poached egg. For lunch, try the Baffi big beefburger or chicken and mushroom crepe. A display cabinet holds treats like macarons in violet and musk, their colours mirrored in floral teacups and vases of pastel roses. A well-loved Chesterfield sofa and worn floorboards add a comfy touch.
