Imperial Hotel

It's billed as the best pub food in Bowral and certainly holds up in every area. The bright and shiny Imperial brings together young and old, the party boys and girls, tourists and locals and all leave the bistro with goofy grins and full stomachs. Menu choices are divided into $16 starters, $22 and $29 mains, specials and the kind of desserts that are just too yummy to resist. The steaks deserve special mention: aged Angus beef sourced from Maugers in nearby Burrawang. The pinnacle is the rightly renowned 28-day aged 500-gram Angus rib-eye on the bone at a very reasonable $33.
