Joe Black

Contemporary

Joe Black delivers 'magic' in a coffee cup - literally. That's its definition of a 3/4-sized double ristretto flat white: a few sips and you've got a DIY vanishing trick. With two single origin specials a day and a mural charting human attachment to coffee, this place doesn't mess around with its brews. The menu shows a sense of humour though, serving breakfast 'all day' and lunch 'from whenever'. The bacon and egg brekkie sambo is 'French for sandwich' and the BLAT - well, 'you should know this one'. Vego options include a great mushroom and hummus sandwich and Mediterranean-style frittata. A mini berry cheesecake is one of Joe's sweeter touches.
