If the sun is shining you'll need to arrive early to nab one of the coveted street-side tables. Inside, the front bar retains a traditional charm, while the decor further back misses slightly. Fortunately, the food doesn't miss a beat. You're spoilt for choice with an extensive menu and three or four daily specials. The pizzas feature combos like chorizo, roasted onion and three cheeses. While servings from the regular menu are generous (a couple could easily share the nachos), the specials can be a little lean. But that's the perfect excuse to try the pub's famed beer-battered chips.
