Huge plates piled high with classic dude food mightn't sound like the stuff of sonnets, but what's not to love about an old-school pub with a fittingly old-school menu and prices to match? To eat or not to eat? The answer's obvious when for a mere $12.50 you can dig into the likes of 'Little Stevie's Heart-Stopping Wedges', covered in an insane amount of mozzarella and smoky bacon, with a side dish of sour cream and sweet chilli. The Shakey Burger, served on a brioche bun with all the trimmings, gets the thumbs up, while barbecue (or should we say, bardbecue?) pork ribs might just inspire a love poem that'll last the ages.
