Perama's David Tsirekas has left his popular Petersham restaurant and moved to smart new digs at Sydney's Westfield, complete with colourful tiles, Turkish carpet and a billowing silk canopy. There are spit roasts of the day (lamb, pork or even goat), a dangerous little ouzo trolley and traditional sandpit coffee.
