Former Jonah's manager Sean Byrne has given this 104-year-old, heritage-listed Federation cottage one cool make-over, creating a cosy wine bar and opening up and stripping back the rest of the space into a flow-through of bright, white inside/outside dining spaces. When the sun shows its face, the place to be is under a giant market umbrella on the front terrace, tucking into a terrific weekend breakfast of eggs benedict or a lunchtime wagyu sandwich with a full-on Karmee Velocity blend cappuccino ($4). Dogs and kids aren't mandatory accessories, but you won't really fit in without them.
