You can tell a lot about a cafe by its bulletin board. This one is full of ashram experiences and yoga retreats, no surprise when you consider the official name of this cafe is Heart and Soul Organic Chai Cafe and that it's run by the lovely Hare Krishna people. As you'd expect, the emphasis here is on fresh wholesome organic food - lentil burgers, dairy-free brownies - but there is decent air-roasted organic coffee, too. A piccolo latte ($3) is as earthy and mellow as the customers: a welcome mix of hugging hippies and curious locals.
