Decor is Middle Eastern opulent: faux granite, domed ceilings with recessed multi-coloured neons. It’s busy but it works! It’s always packed, and many rate their felafel the best in town: eternally crunchy with a spiced and crumbly centre. Choose from 10 mixed plate combos including beef, chicken and kofte: all come with creamy, smooth hummus, zesty tabbouleh and smoky babaghanoush. Flatbread, pickles and addictive toum (garlic sauce) are complimentary. A takeaway mix of six felafel, tahini and pickles for $4 might be a bargain hard to refuse, but come with a group and order big for a rollicking good time.
