Sports buffs can park their families there or in the dining room and then take their own meals at the bar, where they can watch live horseracing on one screen, boxing on another, or work up an appetite playing Big Buck Hunter, the bar's shooting video game. As in many inland towns, the best bet here is hoofed beast served traditional Aussie style: the Kootingal's tender Kimberly Red Scotch fillet is definitely superior to the goopy-sauced Thai beef salad.
