You don't have to do much to vegetables to make them taste good. In fact, the less you do to them, the more delicious they usually are.
• 1 bunch broccolini
• 30g butter
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• a lemon cheek, to serve
Trim the broccolini into 7cm lengths. Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to the boil and boil the broccolini for 3 minutes. Drain well and transfer the broccolini to a serving plate.
Return the dry saucepan to the heat and add the butter. When the butter foams and turns a nutty brown, add the soy sauce and remove from heat. Pour the mixture over the broccolini and serve with a cheek of lemon.
