A quick and easy snack idea.

Ingredients

1/2 tbsp butter

1 thick slice crusty bread (e.g. sourdough)

2 tsp Dijon mustard

1/4 tsp harissa

50g grated cheddar cheese

Drizzle of worcestershire sauce

Method

  • Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add the bread and brown lightly on both sides. Remove.

  • Mix together the mustard and harissa and spread over one side of the bread. Top with cheese and place under a hot griller until the cheese bubbles and lightly browns. Drizzle with worcestershire and serve immediately.
