Seafood

One of Sydney's first upscale fish and chipperies remains among its very best. By olde time standards, it certainly ain't cheap - some fish and chip serves can set you back $25 - but it is outstanding. In addition to all manner of fried or grilled fish (barramundi, trout, jewfish, cod, salmon, tuna, snapper, etc), are fabulous oysters and prawns, and French-style mustardy mussels with bread. Needless to say, the chips are essential and scrumptious. The eat-in space itself is tiny and frequently chockers. If you can get it home fast enough to eat hot, takeaway could be a better bet.
