After a sensitive makeover that saw the dining room given a new colour scheme, chairs, locally designed tables and a gleaming spit-and-polish to the old kauri pine floors, this 15-year-old Launceston favourite is certainly not showing its age. Democratically open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it's Craig Will's evening menu that shines, with its kingfish and kimchi mayo, and baked whole snapper with stir-fried brassicas, mung bean noodles and periwinkles.
