It's a test of dining etiquette when sharing with a friend to hand over the last of five plump wagyu gyoza, with their golden, chewy exterior, deeply flavoursome stuffing and accompanying white-soy mustard. Luckily a constant stream of small dishes glides your way through the sleek, industrial-esque dining room from Toko's robata grill, sushi station and deep fryer. Punters come in droves to hover around Toko's trendy drinks bar or cluster along the sushi counter, which is about as long as the restaurant's menu. Choose from house signatures such as the famous duck breast with sansho pepper and pickled nashi - a sensational combo of perfectly pink, tender duck slices and sweet-sour shards of pear - or classics such as prawn tempura, here a veritable tangle of crunchy, airy batter and fresh, fat, sweet crustaceans. All five of them. Yep, that's another food fight brewing on a table for two.
