Truman

Contemporary

'Meet you at Truman' means great Di Bella coffee, possibly a plate of Connie's eggs (soft-poached in napoli with Istra bacon), or maybe a BLT sandwich with plenty of avocado and house-made mayo- or it might mean a jammy house-made lamington and a milkshake in a tin cup. Named after Breakfast at Tiffany's author Truman Capote, it's a natty, light-filled space with hints of kitsch and room for pram-parking out front. Service is switched-on by crack hospitality duo Ryan Cassidy and Mark Wright (ex-the Galleon and Las Chicas). Ah Truman, it feels like you've always been here, occupying this leafy corner and generally being fab.
