Mark your calendars, Sydney. The Night Noodle Markets, presented by Citi, are back with a new date and location.

After being postponed earlier this year due to heavy rain, the event will now be held over six days from Tuesday, October 4 at Prince Alfred Park, Surry Hills.

Redfern doughnut champions Donut Papi and new stallholders Bangkok Street Food, Shallot Thai and Roll Up will join festival favourites Hoy Pinoy, Flying Noodles, Wonderbao and Twistto, among others.

Visitors will also get a chance to try Perth chef Brendan Pang's sought-after dumplings.

His west-coast dumpling house Bumplings has collaborated with Mazda, drawing inspiration from the car company's Japanese origins on a new curated menu.

October presents the best climate conditions for the markets to return to their new location, says Conor Farrell, head of Night Noodle Markets at Nine (publishers of this masthead).

"Our customers love to eat out and it's great to be back ... and supporting local businesses," says Samantha Elliott, head of digital sales and marketing for Citi Branded Division, National Australia Bank.
