Ingredients

  • 250g (1⅔ cups) strawberries

  • 4 scoops strawberry ice cream

  • 2 tbsp malted milk powder

  • 375ml (1½ cups) milk

  • extra malted milk powder, to serve

Method

  1. Step 1

Select two small strawberries for garnishing and halve them from top to bottom, cutting through the hull. Without slicing all the way through, cut each half from bottom to top into two slices joined at the stalk. Gently fan out the slices; reserve.

  2. Step 2

Hull the remaining strawberries and cut them in half, removing the white core if it is pronounced. Put the strawberries, ice cream and malted milk powder in a blender and whizz for 20–25 seconds, or until thick and smooth.

  3. Step 3

Add the milk and whizz for 25–30 seconds, or until frothy. Pour into four glasses and top each with one of the reserved strawberry halves. Sprinkle with extra malted milk powder. Serve immediately.
