Ripe custard apples are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin B6, magnesium and potassium. They have a low glycaemic index.
1 cup full cream milk
1 cup custard apple flesh (seeds removed)
2 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
In a blender, process milk and flesh until smooth. Add honey and whiz until combined.
Pour mixture into a tall glass and sprinkle with nutmeg.
